Have you been waiting for Darksiders to drop in price? Well, now it has, thanks to GameStop slashing $20 off the retail price in their online store. I also a coupon to share which will bring it down to $35.99 with shipping, and you’ll also get $10 GameStop credit for a future purchase. Check the rest of the post for details:

Darksiders at GameStop. This applies to a new Xbox 360 or PS3 copy – don’t even look at the used, it’s more expensive at the moment. When purchasing the game new, you’ll get $10 of GameStop credit for a future game purchase/pre-order and when you use coupon FEB10OFF you’ll get an additional 10% off .

Beat single-player games quickly? Sell it back to Amazon for $31.25. This means you can get to play through Darksiders for about $5 and still have that $10 GameStop credit. Thanks to ssjmichael for the tip.

Generally, the internet’s independent music store eMusic, gives it’s users 25 free mp3s to try out the service. eMusic is a monthly based subscription service, but unlike the other big guys out there, you actually get to keep your high quality DRM free tunes even after you cancel. eMusic has partnered with many music festivals, magazines, and websites to offer users more than 25 free tracks when they first sign up, but there is a hidden url provided by SunFest that gives out 100 mp3s, totally free.

This is how it works. You click on this link, you see the huge and welcoming “100 Free Downloads” image, you sign up, (with a credit card,) and then your account automatically gets 100 free tracks. Your first thirty days on eMusic are totally free, however, they will bill you once you reach the second month. So what you have to do is download your tracks and cancel before it bills you after 30 days. It is very painless to cancel, and if you remember and do it right, you can walk away with 100 more songs on your iPod or Zune.

In my opinion however, eMusic is perhaps the best music store out there. They offer some of the best bands that only the independent labels can offer, and there is absolutely no DRM or security. You can put the songs on your iPod, transfer them to CD, or even share them with your friends – no, don’t do that.

I’d suggest taking your 100 free downloads and continue using the service if you like it. I have been subscribed for quite some time, and it is a great deal and I love the networking aspects of the site. What you do is up to you though. Whether you just subscribe for the 100 free downloads and then cancel, or you subscribe for the 100 free downloads and keep going, either way you are getting a lot of free music. Enjoy.
